Farmers’ Market opens for season

The Bedford Farmers’ Market is open for business. The market will be open every Tuesday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Riley Field Complex off Route 101 on Nashua Road. It will run until the end of October.

Deb Sklar, president of the market steering committee, expects about a dozen vendors at the start, but the number to increase as the season goes on. Salsa, baked goods, cheese, flowers, and Fresh Joe coffee will be among the early offerigs, which are expected to expand as the season progresses.

Activities will also be scheduled; a cooking demonstration by Unwine’d, a restaurant and wine bar, will be featured Tuesday.
